My 90-year-old father had an appointment to have ear wax removed by suction at Ash Hearing in Leamington Spa on Wednesday 12 Dec 2018. We were made very welcome. The facilities (waiting area and treatment room) were spotlessly clean and comfortable. After completing a standard questionnaire my father was put at ease before the procedure was carried out. This took about 15 minutes and was completely painless and my father was able to hear more clearly afterwards.

I was concerned about my own hearing which seemed slightly muted and I was invited to have them checked there and then at no charge. It was confirmed that I have a slight build up of wax that will require attention at some point and it is my intention to make an appointment with Ash Hearing in the new year. The service is so much more convenient than having to see a GP, treating ears for a week or so and then having to return for a nurses appointment to have them irrigated. I think the cost  is very reasonable for the level of service provided and that it is great to have this facility on our doorstep.

Catherine Steed was very good. I was suffering from last 02 weeks with Earwax buildup leading to hearing loss, fullness in ear and constant humming sound. She removed the wax very gently and the relief was instant. She explained it to me in detail to deal with in future.
