Welcome to Ash Hearing Centre based in central Leamington Spa, just off the main shopping Parade. Our ground floor clinic provides easy access from street level, with plentiful parking on the road outside (payable at the meter).

Ash Hearing Centre is an independent, family owned clinic dedicated to providing a professional, relaxed and informative service where you can feel comfortable to discuss your hearing needs and be confident that you will be provided with the excellent care you deserve. We use state-of-the-art equipment and testing to ensure the best possible outcomes for your hearing needs by investigating possible solutions from many different manufacturers.

Eleanor Cadman MSc RHAD MSHAA

Senior Audiologist

After initially training as a Biomedical scientist, Eleanor felt her science skills would be put to better use in a clinical setting. Eleanor had been studying British Sign Language at night school and felt Audiology was the direction to go. Eleanor studied a Masters in Audiology at Southampton University in 2005 and completed her clinical training at Swansea NHS Trust. Eleanor has now completed more than ten years NHS work as a specialist Audiologist; undertaking complex audiology work including children's hearing assessments, fitting hearing aids to complex cases and undertaking balance assessments and rehabilitation. Eleanor has excellent experience with a range of digital aids and hearing aid fitting techniques. Eleanor also has first hand experience of tinnitus and hearing loss, so is able to offer excellent advice on devices which will assist you in your daily life.

Outside of work, Ellie puts her time to good use raising money for local charities through the Ladies Circle, and spends time with her young family.

Catherine Steed BA Hons

Asst. Audiologist & Practice Manager

Catherine is our Assistant Audiologist and also our Practice Manager.

She started her career in audiology by training as a Hearing Care Assistant at Aston University in 2016 and has been working in private clinics since then. Catherine has a wide range of experience of hearing aids and accessories from a selection of manufacturers, and so is well placed to advise on solutions to make life easier. She can also assist with repairs and technical questions and give advice on the maintenance and wearing of hearing devices.

Catherine is also trained in clinical wax removal (micro-suction and irrigation) and so can treat customers with troublesome wax build up.  Catherine is registered with BSHAA as an HCA.

When not assisting clients with their audiological needs, Catherine is busy running the practice and managing the team to ensure a warm, welcoming and customer focused approach for all our clients.

Outside of work, sport is Catherine’s main interest and she is always looking for a new challenge!
